The EERJ (European Educational Research Journal) is the flagship journal of the European Educational Research Association.

The European Educational Research Journal (EERJ) is a scientific journal interested in the changing landscape of education research across Europe. Education research increasingly crosses the borders of the national through its subjects of study, scholarly collaborations and references. Network 17 (Histories of Education) worked on a Special publication to mark the 20th anniversary in 2014 of the foundation of EERA and invited scholars to submit essays and photos on education dating from the late nineteenth century up to the late twentieth century. These essays and the respective photographs have been published in form of an e-book.

Current Call for Papers

The European market and the Union are based on, and shaped by, the Four Freedoms. These are the free movement of goods, workers, services and capital, each of which is necessary to create a common economic entity, and sustain a common purpose. Variations exist in the relation of individual countries or services to these common goals, and protectionist policies are still in place. How do the four freedoms unfold in the field of education? This is the subject of the new Call for Papers in the EERJ.
