The "Globalization and Education Special Interest Group" (SIG) of the US-based "Comparative and International Education Society" produces a  webinar -- "FreshEd' -- that airs weekly.
The focus of the webinar is recent research and theoretical work in education, with the purpose being to discuss current literature with the authors who produced it in a way that makes ideas easily accessible.
