We cordially invite you to the First International Eurasian Educational Research Congress hosted jointly by Eurasian Journal of Education Research/EJER indexed by Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) and İstanbul University, which is one of the firstly established ten universities in Europe.
You can submit a paper or a poster and participate in panels or workshops at EJER Congress that will be held on April 24-26, 2014 at Istanbul University Congress Center. The theme of the EJER Congress is “Rethinking Education: Issues and Solutions” and the papers accepted and submitted at EJER Congress are planned to be published in the EJER in the same year, after peer reviewing process.
Many academicians from Turkey and abroad are expected to attend EJER Congress. In addition, the specialist guest speakers will contribute a lot to the Congress. Prof. Corrine Glesne, qualitative research methodologist and educational anthropologist, will submit a paper titled “Uneasy Thresholds: Qualitative Inquiry in Education as a Path for Understanding, Connection, and Change in Complex Times.” A question and answer panel session on qualitative research in which Prof. Dr. Glesne participates will be held as a follow up.
Şenel Poyrazlı, another guest speaker, is Associate Professor of Counselling Psychology at Pennsylvania State University and within APA Division 52 (International Psychology), she just got elected as president (2014).
Other esteemed guest of the Congress is Prof. Dr. Linda Davis who will make a speech on new dimensions of teacher education.
