The Faculty of Psychology and Education invites applications for a Full Professorship (W3) of Educational Research (Chair) commencing as soon as possible.

The position includes the representation of the field of Education in research and teaching with an emphasis on empirical research. One main focus should include research on life course education. We also expect a research focus besides school and learning research and/ or on informal learning. Candidates are supposed to participate in the interdisciplinary Munich Center of the Learning Sciences. The teaching duties include contributions to the bachelor’s and master’s programs in educational science as well as to teacher education.

Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, teaching skills at university level, excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program.
