Contribution
The positive contribution of educational research in improvement of teaching and learning processes is well known. Through a research school administrators, parents and especially teachers may give satisfactory answers to key questions related to the improvement of their teaching methods or in changing of their behaviors and attitudes in the classroom or even altering the behaviors of their students and their interest for learning processes and their academic performance improvement by implementing instructional communication techniques. Teachers can also learn about issues that particularly interest the parents or issues that positively contribute to the management of the classroom or issues related to administration of the school unit which considered to be an educational organization with special operating features.
Within this theoretical framework, the present study aims to investigate the Greek legislative context for the implementation of educational research in kindergartens and primary schools. Also, it attempts to present the processes and procedures of the educational research conduct and the persons who mainly involved in mentioned processes. These three fundamental factors, i.e. institutional framework, processes and procedures and involved persons are considered extremely essential for qualitative improving of the educational research in regard to Greek educational system.
