The Emerging Researchers' Conference precedes ECER and is organised by EERA's Emerging Researchers' Group.

Submissions are to be handed in via the standard submission procedure.

Please note that for the Emerging Researchers' Conference only papers, posters, pecha kucha and video presentations will be considered. Group presentations like symposia, roundtables and workshops are reserved for ECER or centrally organised, if they are offered in the ERC.

Fees for Emerging Researchers' Conference are 50 Euro (35 for Low GDP Countries).

Each year, EERA offers financial support to promising emerging researchers from Eastern European and other Low GDP countries to enable their conference participation. The ECER conference bursary consists of free entry to the ECER Main Conference and a 500 Euro travel bursary. Local bursaries, including free entrance to ECER and ERC are offered to students and recent graduates from the country hosting the conference.

The roundtable address challenges related to the basic ethnographic concepts of `field and context` facing contemporary ethnographic educational research and ethnographic researchers. The roundtable aims to initiate and propel intergenerational discussions among educational empirical researchers from different disciplines and educational settings.
