The fifth biennial meeting of the EARLI Special Interest Group 16 – Metacognition will be organised jointly by the Department of Psychology of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and by the Department of Human Sciences for Education “R. Massa” of the Milano Bicocca University. The site of the conference will be the main campus of the Catholic University of Sacred Heart, in Milano downtown.
The aim of the meeting is to provide a forum for the presentation and exchange of research findings relating to the basic processes and the applications of metacognition. Metacognition is portrayed in a life-span perspective, ranging from infancy to adulthood, and considered both in informal and formal educational settings (school, university, professional training, on-the-job learning, and so on).
The meeting will include keynote lectures, symposia, individual papers, posters, workshops and a “coffee with the experts” session.
Submissions covering all areas of metacognition research are welcome.
