This international seminar, jointly sponsored by the Education and Social Research Institute (ESRI) at Manchester Metropolitan University, the European Education Research Association (EERA), the British Education Research Association (BERA) and the journal Ethnography and Education, aims to achieve a broad discussion of questions of space, place and social justice in education. Those attending will have an opportunity to hear two internationally acclaimed keynote speakers and selected contributions from around forty international participants presented in a variety of strands.
